JLM 1926 has named Matt Sutton-Vermeulen as president of its Unison Resource Company.

Mark Perrin, president of JLM 1926, announced the addition of Matt Sutton-Vermeulen as president of Unison Resource Company. "Matt has a unique set of strategic skills, management expertise and relationships throughout the food chain," says Perrin. "Under his leadership, Unison will expand its service offering to include strategic facilitation and stakeholder engagement, primarily within the food chain."

Unison is one of five organizations owned by the JLM 1926 and was established in 2008 to offer innovative staffing solutions to its clients. Beth Homann, Unison Staffing Solutions Manager, will report to Sutton-Vermeulen and continue to manage and provide staffing solutions to a growing number of clients.

Prior to joining Unison, Sutton-Vermeulen spent more than 10 years as a consultant for CMA Consulting and McCormick Company. He began his professional career in food-animal production after earning degrees from both Michigan State University and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. His experience includes working with domestic and international clients in all aspects of food production, including animal health, nutrition, production, processing, retail, associations and non-governmental organizations (NGOs).
